Great Things Happening On The Sonny Side
It was bought to my attention that I was having the same title for every post. I didn’t realize that “What’s happening On The Sonny Side” was a title for every post. But when I looked at the word “Title” I realized that I must not have been paying much attention. I want to keep it the Sonny side so I will have to be creative (something hard for me to do).
Hey, there are great things going on at Eastwood. A couple weeks back (July 29) we went to the Chisholm Hills congregation for our evening worship. It was great! We and Chisholm Hills had a very good attendance. I was so proud of Eastwood for the cooperation that was shown. Our elders mentioned to me that they would like to see us, be the leaders, in planning an area wide worship assemble, in the near future. This past Wednesday at the “preacher’s luncheon” I mentioned this and there were several that said, “include us as interested.” This is going to happen. Wouldn’t it great if we could do this at least every six months? Wow, I like that idea. One day we will be the church of Christ in Florence, AL.
Give me some suggestions about how you would like to see this done.

I’ll have to say, two worship services with two congregations at once was extremely uplifting. One can only image what heaven will be like when we are all together. The worship was infectious. Only good things can happen from this effort.

It took us leaving for me to pay a visit to the church website. Hopefully we’ll have a site soon, too. Things are going well over here. We’re happy to see that things continue to go well over there. Pray for us as we pray for you. Keep struggling.
