Eastwood Church of Christ

2007 ended with our youth minister and a “whole bunch” of our preteens and teens working hard to serve those in need. About 3 hours was spent cleaning the yard of one of our families that has had a lot of heartache in their lives. Lunch was prepared and served to our youth by several of our moms and one grandmother. What a grand way to end a good year.

2008 begin with the Eastwood congregation serving a meal to all who would come and eat with us. There were 80+ Christians from Eastwood and 30ish from the community. Several visitors were family members of ours but quite a few were from the East Florence area. It was an inspiration day to say the least.

Food was bountiful. Our brethren at Eastwood did a magnificent job of providing food. Several brought food that did not come to the feast. They helped tremendously.

There are many things planned for the Master this year. Will you be part of the labor of love?
