April 2008 Is Just Ahead
March is almost gone. it has been good month as we, “Marched For The Master.” Be sure and look at our calendar of events. There are some really good things happening at Eastwood in April. I am looking forward to our “Gospel Meeting” the sixth through the ninth. The preaching will be done by teenagers. Sunday of the meeting our young men from Eastwood will do all the preaching. Monday through Wednesday the preachers club from Mars Hill’s Bible school will do the preaching. Wow, wouldn’t it wonderful if from this gospel meeting several of these young Christians decided that they want to preach full time for the Lord’s church? I certainly think it would be GREAT!
April 13 – 16 I will be preaching a meeting in Florida. It will be around the St. George Island area. This will be a mission meeting. Eastwood will pay my expenses there and back and the brethren there will not have to be out any money.
The congregation I will preach for had 22 in attendance last Sunday. They do a very good prison ministry. In the last couple of years they have baptized around 150 prisoners into the Lord. Now these people are prisoners of Christ and prisoners of the state of Florida.
May we have a banner month for the Lord in April. May He shower blessing and opportunities for eastwood

The youth gospel meeting was outstanding. All the young men who spoke did a wonderful job. It was very inspiring. I can’t wait to hear them again.
