Spring Gospel Meeting — What A Good Week!
I have never heard as many positive comments after a (meeting) sermon as I have this week. Wednesday night there were three that said, “This is the best meeting I have ever attended.”
If you don’t know, each night the preaching was done by teenagers, except for one Heritage student.
On Sunday five of our young men: Sunday AM, Tyler Darby and Tyler Huggins did the preaching. Sunday PM, Cody Darby, Tyler Lard and Patrick O’Byrne did the preaching.
Monday through Wednesday students from Mars Hills Proclaimers club preached. One exception was Timothy Harris from Heritage Christian University.
We had a great many visitors each night. I was especially proud of our local preachers that came to support these young preachers.
This will prove to be a time of growth for us at Eastwood. A special thanks to our elders for their vision to schedule this meeting. Thanks to the brethren at Eastwood that supported this effort.
The gospel was preached and God was glorified.
